What Monkies is
A task tracker for a team that ships, the people around it, and what your customers are asking for.
Monkies keeps your team's work in one place: the tasks, the projects they belong to, the people doing them, and the customers waiting on them.
The pieces
| Piece | What it is |

| Workspace | One company. Nothing crosses between two. |
| Task | One piece of work. It can hold subtasks, points, links and comments. |
| Column | Where a task sits on the board. You name them. |
| Project | Tasks that belong together, with their own epics, timeline and diagrams. |
| Epic | Work too big for one task, with its children filed underneath. |
| Request | Something a customer asked for, attached to the task that answers it. |
Know your role
What you can do depends on the role you were given.
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including settings and removing people. |
| Admin | Manage people, teams and invitations. Edit anybody's view. |
| Member | Do the work: create, edit and move tasks. |
| Restricted | See only the projects they hold a task in. For contractors. |

Common questions
Can I be in more than one workspace?
Yes. Switch between them from the button at the top of the sidebar. Nothing is shared between two workspaces.
Who can change my role?
An owner or an admin, from the person's page in the directory.
