Agents and MCP
Connect an AI assistant to your workspace, and decide what it may touch.
Connect an AI assistant to your workspace over MCP. It can read your work and do a bounded set of things in it, with the boundary enforced by the server rather than by the assistant's prompt.
Connect a client
Copy the endpoint from the Agents page and add it to your MCP client. Signing in is OAuth against your own account, so an agent can only ever see what you can see.
Know what it can do
Your agent gets the whole surface: reading the board, tasks, projects, epics, people, the calendar, customer requests and diagrams, and writing tasks, subtasks, comments, links, projects and diagrams.
Write descriptions as rich text
Descriptions and comments are rich text. An agent sending plain text where rich text is expected is refused rather than silently mangled.
Common questions
Can an agent delete my tasks?
Yours can, because you can. The workspace bot cannot, because deleting is not on its allowlist.
Does an agent see other people's private views?
No. It sees exactly what the account it signed in as sees, and nothing more.
How do I disconnect one?
Remove the connection in your MCP client. Nothing is left behind in Monkies.
